Workshops and after-school programs

At British American School, we understand that learning extends beyond the classroom. Our After-School Program and specialized workshops offer our students from preschool, to high school a vibrant and enriching environment to explore their interests, develop new skills, and connect with peers.

After-School Program

Our After-School and workshops program is designed to provide students with a safe, engaging space where they can unwind and pursue activities that spark their creativity and curiosity. Here’s what we offer:

• Homework Help: Our dedicated staff provides support to ensure students complete their assignments, helping them develop strong study habits and academic skills.
• Cultural Activities: Students engage in a variety of cultural activities, including arts and  music, that celebrate our diverse bilingual community.
• Sports and Recreation: We offer various sports programs that promote teamwork, physical fitness, and fun such as soccer, psychomotricity, Lima Lama, and  Flag football. Students can participate in healthy competition and learn the importance of collaboration.
• Clubs and Interest Groups: Whether it’s robotics, cooking lessons, chess , or math, students can join clubs that align with their passions and interests, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

Medical Service 

At British American School we have 3 school infirmaries managed by a school doctor, trained in the management of pre-hospital emergency situations and first aid. In case of any situation, our doctor contacts the student’s family to inform or follow up on illnesses or treatments.  Likewise, we promote prevention and vaccination campaigns.
As a school we have an accident insurance policy for all of our students. 

School cafeteria 

We have a cafeteria service which offers a wide variety of healthy dishes during recess as well as a menu service Monday through Friday, including food for workshops. We also offer lunch or cake to celebrate students’ birthdays.

French

At British American School we recognize the importance of multilingualism in today’s global society. That’s why we offer a specialized French language program for students from elementary to high school, providing them with the opportunity to learn a third language in an engaging and immersive environment.

French is not only a beautiful language but also one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. Learning a third language opens doors to diverse cultures, enhances cognitive skills, and boosts future career opportunities. Our program is designed to make language acquisition enjoyable and effective.
